The team at Toast did an incredible job with the videography and photography for our wedding in the Santa Cruz area. We highly recommend them due to their strong communication throughout the planning process and high quality of work! Our wonderful project coordinator, Julianna, worked with us in the months leading up to the wedding and collected information on our hopes for the final products as well as coordinated with vendors to ensure that all of the necessary equipment would be available for the big day. Dariush and Sabrina, our day of team members, were professional and fun to work with throughout the event. They clearly knew what they were doing! The final project surpassed all of our expectations and we are so happy that we have so much good footage and so many amazing photos to reminisce on our special day.

Toast was founded by Zach & Callie, a husband and wife team. Zach is a documentary cinematographer and producer known for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning documentary, The Price of Free, with another 5 documentaries premiering at Tribeca Film Festival. Callie, in addition to being an experienced wedding and travel photographer, has collaborated with some of the most renowned photographers globally, editing photos for the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. Since 2014, we've been honored to capture over 3,000 weddings for incredible couples, winning Couple’s Choice on Wedding Wire, Knot Hall of Fame and Knot Best of Weddings eight years in a row. We pride ourselves on creating all of your wedding media as a collaboration, deeply valuing what matters most to you. We understand that we're not just capturing any event, we’re telling a love story that becomes a part of your family history, through multiple different mediums. oughts. From the start, everyone who I worked with and talked to was friendly, professional, and most importantly, communicative! I filled out surveys about what my husband and I wanted and imagined for our film. I hopped on calls when needed, and emails were answered promptly! Our videographer, Marcin, was extremely kind and stayed under the radar during our day! I forgot he was even there, besides a few interactions, which is exactly what we wanted! He communicated with us before the big day, and showed up with an assistant, who was also wonderful. He captured our moments that we requested, and made sure to check in a few times to make sure we didn't need anything else specific. I found TOAST films through the KNOT magazine I read when I got engaged, and I loved their feed on social media. I have no doubt our footage will be amazing. They gave top knotch service that was above and beyond- My shoe broke before we were leaving for the ceremony, not only did Jerry take the time to fix my shoe but he helped me put my heels back on. ared to other vendors. We barely saw the videographer on the actual wedding day since he blended in so well with the crowd and was never intrusive, and he gave us a memory we will cherish forever! Note to future couples: go with a longer video than you think you'll want, because it's SO beautiful to watch your day over again. And don't worry if you feel a little awkward with staged video clips, because they make you look great!!

We used Toast Wedding Films for our wedding in June of 2017 at Swan Lake Resort. They did a wonderful job. They had a camera all day with the guys golfing , etc. And another camera...

with the girls getting ready, etc. They put it together wonderfully and made it possible for us to make changes before we ended up with the final project. They were helpful and patient with us during this process. This was a last minute decision to film the wedding and I am so glad we did. Toast helped to create memories we can watch again and again.
